The temperatures are dropping which means snow is in the air but we still have a couple weeks left of Dry land training. With it getting colder we need to remember to dress appropriately, the kids are still running around and being active but that can be difficult if they aren't wearing proper footwear or clothing. Parents and kids can you please remember to wear mittens, buff or toque, jacket and running shoes to practice.
Tuesday 19th Oct:
Orange:
Meet at the sea cans ready to run. Practice is 4:30-6pm. You will be working on physical literacy
Purple:
Practice is from 4:30-6pm and meet at the sea cans. You will be running, strength, balance and speed. Don’t forget your water bottle!
Green:
Practice is 4:30-6pm, meet in the stadium ready to run.
Thursday 21st Oct:
Purple:
Meet at the sea cans for 4:30pm. You will be running and working on speed, balance and Strength. Practice is done at 6pm
Green:
No roller skiing today, you will be ski striding instead. Practice is 4:30-6pm and practice will start and end at the sea cans
Saturday 23rd Oct:
Yellow:
Practice is 1-2:30pm, meet in the stadium ready to run. Yellow will do a warm-up and then work on speed, balance and strength.
Orange:
Meet in the stadium and practice is from 1-2:30pm. You will start with a warm-up and then work on balance, strength and speed.
Purple:
Meet in the stadium at 1pm ready for a long run. Purple will explore the ski trails and single-track trails and be back in the stadium for 2:30pm
Green:
Practice is 1-2:30pm,
meet in the stadium ready to run. You will be going on a long run today so come
dressed prepared.
